3 Healthy habits to prevent the spread of FLU
1. The best way to prevent seasonal flu is getting yourself and your family vaccinated early during the season. Everyone 6 months of age and older should get the vaccine.
2. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth and wash your hands often with soap and water. If not available, use an alcohol based hand disinfectant.
3. Avoid close contact with people who are sick. If you are sick, keep your distance from others to protect them from getting sick too.
Flu season runs from October to May and with the Covid-19 virus still spreading in our communities, it is crucial to be proactive and help stop an outbreak of the flu on time.
